Birds of the World was born out of Manuel Quiroga's passion for wildlife photography and conservation. Having built a collection of thousands of bird photographs across multiple continents, Manuel wanted to share nature's beauty with the world.

 

He started sharing his experiences by holding lectures with "Nuestros Amigos Silvestres" in La Paz Bolivia. In 2022, he published two calendars: Birds of Timor Leste & Birds of La Paz, and in 2023, published Birds of Germany. Furthermore, Manuel Quiroga has won photography prizes in Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, and Timor-Leste.
